Freelance, Safety Health Officer. You will be working on projects from our varied client base, ranging from small to mid-sized pharma, biotech, and medical device companies.

The duties of a safety health officer include supporting a company in preventing work accidents or occupational diseases. A particular focus is on ensuring and guaranteeing the proper use of protective clothing and protective equipment. He/She is therefore responsible for providing information about accidents and health risks.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Inspection and maintenance of protective devices
• Monitoring the proper use of protective devices
• Checking the condition of personal protective equipment
• Detecting improper use or nonuse of protective equipment
• Reporting safety deficiencies to your supervisor
• Drawing attention to accident and health risks
• Educating employees about the safe handling of machines and working materials
• Sponsorship for new employees, introduction to safetyrelated regulations
• Participation in company inspections and investigations into accidents and occupational diseases

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education with typically 5 years of experience
• Strong Safety skills
• A proactive approach to problemsolving, thinking outside of the box, and ability to identify creative solutions to unique problems.
• Proficient with standard computer software.
• Fluent in English and local language
