For our Product Development department, we are looking for a highly motivated Master student (x|f|m) based in Ulm (Sartorius Stedim Cellca GmbH) to support our process development for the production of biopharmaceuticals.

To support us in our Product Development Team we are looking for an intern starting from May 1st 2024 or later.

Your tasks

Characterization of a CHO perfusion process regarding cell performance at high cell densities using benchtop bioreactors and parallel minibioreactor systems (Ambr)
Investigate different parameters and cellular properties affecting process performance using a variety of analytical and data analysis techniques
Propose and experimentally evaluate different strategies to optimize the process

Your qualifications

Pursuing Master's degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or similar disciplines
Basic experience in lab work (CHO cell culture is of advantage)
First experience with data analysis tools is helpful (like DoE or multivariate data analysis)
High motivation and the ability to work independently
Structured way of working as well as solutionoriented way of thinking
