Summary


This position acts primarily as professional partner of the Senior Manager Finance Shared Service Center Pumps EMEA ensuring compliance regarding SOX and all closing activities related to US-GAAP and local GAAP for all entities the Shared Service Center Pumps EMEA (SSC P-E) oversees.


Primary Responsibilities include:


  • Inventory Management inclusive optimizing inventory on hand for sustainable After Market Growth and monitoring of properly defined security stock
  • Responsibility of Inventory Revaluation incl. OSMI and Lower Cost of Market Calculation (US-GAAP and local HGB). Supporting qualitative OSMI-Review
  • Inventory Controlling incl. creating reports and analysis of ingoing and outgoing materials)
  • Support enhancement of existing BI tools or implementation of specialized SW which allows deep insight into inventory handling processes to detect suboptimal setup or handled processes and the development and tracking of sustainable counter actions
  • Coordination of Scrapping Process (requests, approvals, action), business partner of Ops to improve scrap costs
  • Business partner for Operations regards all questions of inventory optimization
  • Reconciliation of inventory in detail to ensure full compliance with Circor Policy and US-GAAP
  • Supporting Organization, Execution and Monitoring of Annual Physical Inventory (API) incl. being key contact for external auditors. Perform detailed analysis of API to understand root cause. Define and track corrective action to optimize material handling
  • Execution of internal inventory controls (e.g., usage of consignment stocks, WIP without usage, specific order inventory without usage)
  • Internal SOX controls incl. documentation
  • Support Product Calculation as part of inventory revaluation
  • Support Ops and finance to install transparent tracking of inventory

Job Requirements:

Required skills:


  • Ideally, proven 23 years' relevant finance experience in similar role
  • Recognized degree in finance or similar
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication in German and English.
  • Computer literate in modern ERP systems (preferable SAP), MS office, and communication tools
