About the role

For our team in the German market we are looking for a Director Finance as part of the leadership team.

In this role you will be responsible for monitoring, structuring and improving the financial performance of the market. This includes accounting, budget planning, controlling and reporting, business planning and pricing.

The responsibilities include:

Build and head our Finance team for the German market
Work closely with the CEO Germany and lead the creation of business plans, budgets, forecasts, pricing strategies or market analysis
Lead the accounting and financial reporting functions for the German entity, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results according to Group standards
Monitor and report on financial performance against budget and forecast
Financial integration of acquired units

What we would like you to have
Besides an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to deal with constant change, we would like you to have:

8+ years of experience in Finance functions in a fast-paced environment, including business partner and leadership functions
Ideally you have already worked in a B2C company in a startup / scaleup environment and potentially even an international matrix organisation
Hold a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience with Finance related qualifications
Strong business understanding and communication skills to build excellent collaboration with other departments in the market
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to provide insights to support strategic decisionmaking
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and German language (additional languages welcome)
