Lead Architect Services - Munich, Deutschland - Vodafone

Description:
As part of the architecture team, you will contribute to the design of Video Applications architectures across Vodafone Group.
You will also collaborate with the specialists in the team and the OpCo's to create tailored solutions based on the Vodafone Group Global TV Platform.
Moreover, you will establish a positive working group to ensure that best technologies and industry trends are incorporated into architectural designs.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Target Architecture scalability blueprint
- Relevant Product Roadmaps
- High level distributed architecture plans
- Deployment guidelines and best practice sharing
- Specification of API's for new Backend services
- E2E Design of new services including decision making on what (cloud) offerings to in cooperate
Job Responsibility:
- What we are looking for:
- Proven experience and recognized knowledge of distributed services architectures and in designing API's for backend services base on cloud native technologies
- Deep understanding of relevant design patterns for highly scalable and distributed platforms and microservices
- Common Architecture and Design blueprints & Best Practices
- Good understanding of metadata models in the TV domain
- Proven experience in managing relationship with supplier and related roadmap
- AWS Solution Architect certification or similar handson experience in one of the major Cloud Platforms
- Sound experience of developing large projects, preferably in a telco/broadcast/video related environment
- Confidence working with distributed development teams, preferably using Agile methodology
- Hands on development experience (Java,.Net, Python or others)
