To strengthen our team, we are looking for a part-time
"Professor for New Media Technologies and Artistic Research (f/m/d)" on a permanent basis as of April 1st 2024.

Your duties:


  • Conducting courses in English, especially in the field of creative industries management and specialized management and leadership areas on Bachelor's and Master's level
  • Teaching and supervision in the area of artistic research, creative industries, cultural studies, and gender studies
  • Initiation of creative practical (research) projects and industry cooperations
  • Supervision of our students as well as active participation in the faculty and university administration

Your profile:


  • Academic qualification in the broader cultural studies field, e. g. new media, music, and art theory
  • PhD in an area that relates to artistic research, preferably with a music or technology focus
  • Record of artistic research and qualitative research
  • Experience in international academic cooperations on a research and teaching level, including industry cooperations
  • Academic teaching experience in the English language at Bachelor and Master level
  • Willingness and ability to actively shape learning processes according to our COREprinciple
  • Fulfillment of the hiring requirements for professors according to 100 BerlHG
