You will cover a critical leadership position accountable for the development and execution of the local End-to-End Supply Chain strategy and activities across all areas of planning, supply, warehousing, customer service.

Your Tasks:


  • Be accountable for the development and execution of a fully integrated Supply Chain Strategy, which supports the EMEA Strategic Plan, local Business Goals and regional SC goals across the three franchises: Ethicon, Cardiovascular and Special Services and DePuy Synthes
  • You lead the execution by having direct responsibility of the team in charge of integrated business planning (IBP), supply execution and inventory management and accountability for warehousing and customer service in a coordinated manner.
  • Be responsible for setting and communicating Supply Chain performance goals (quality, service, inventory, cost, on time launch, etc), supervising the performance and lead the continuous improvement process and action plans across all supply chain functions
  • Lead and facilitate the monthly local IBP processes, ensuring that sales and marketing events & market intelligence are correctly gathered and passed on to the Regional & Global planning teams to ensure ontime right product availability, as well as service review meetings (STEM & PAC) for service risks and define mitigation actions to minimize impact to our end customers
  • For delivering these objectives, it is key to build solid partnership and endtoend collaboration with key groups commercial organizations, local and regional supply chain organizations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Product Management, etc to ensure their contribution is focused on the EndtoEnd goals
  • To ensure we keep the customer at the center of everything we do, you will translate the "Voice Of Customer" in SC strategic and tactical action plans in partnership with the other relevant functions
  • You will ensure supply chain readiness in support of New Product Introductions and portfolio optimization projects.
  • You will own the talent development agenda, build an impactful team and create development opportunities to develop supply chain professionals.

Qualifications:


Qualifications:


  • Master's Degree (MBA, MSc) or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficient in English and German.
  • Proven experience, most of which preferably in a sophisticated Supply Chain environment and a confirmed leadership track record in at least 2 of the following functional areas: manufacturing, planning, distribution, quality, customer service.
  • Experience in previous leadership position and management of senior partners in an international environment is a must.
  • Experience in healthcare / regulatory dependent sector is desirable.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to lead change and influence decisionmaking through multiple levels (middle to senior management) of the organization.
  • Proven track record of challenging the "statusquo", visualizing potential opportunities, and implementing actions to build value.
