Part of the Strategic Alliances organization and within this the Strategic Wholesale team, this role will hold strategic responsibility for developing and closing of large, complex deals (e.g. High Bandwidth and On-Demand Services, MPLS and SD-WAN, Infrastructure/Dark Fiber, and Mobile Connectivity) to drive increased market share and revenue growth.


This key position will be responsible for leading and developing defined regions within Strategic Alliances from a strategic solutions perspective, within new and existing customers.

Same time this position will take a key role to support the regions to develop new pipeline and new business on growing areas as our new SD-WAN or Cloud Go To Market model.

The Strategic Wholesale team will work closely and partner with the region sales leadership who have prime customer relationship management responsibility for our target clients


Key accountabilities

  • Business Development : increase share of wallet within existing customers by up
- and cross-selling Large/Complex solutions to grow revenue, share of wallet and customer retention. Same time support the Go to Market approach for raising areas as SD-WAN, Cloud Connectivity, On Demand, etc.

  • Bid Strategy : ensure winstrategy is executed at highest level of professionalism. Lead complex negotiations as necessary and drive internal team and functional collaboration in support of bids at approved P&L Thresholds.
  • Client Engagement : access and build relationship at C-Level within each existing and prospect accounts.
  • Account Development: partner with Sales colleagues developing tuned account development plans leading to a different conversation from the traditional WHS engagement.

Role Specific Requirements

  • Ability to communicate, present and influence at Executive level.
  • At least five years' experience of the TK/ITmarket with an affinity to TK/IT technology and services.
  • Strategic thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit, persuasive and inspiring.
  • Stake Holder Management and Collaboration Skills (roles requires collaboration with Sales Leaders, Product Leadership and Operation.
  • Financial Acumen and experience of developing and executing on a business plan and associated financial objectives.
  • Results
- oriented leadership with high commitment, resilience and a positive attitude.

  • Successful graduation in economics related study program or comparable education.
  • English language skills at professional level.
  • Preferable additional language as e.g. German, Dutch, French, Spain, Italian

Performance Indicators

  • Regional Pipeline Management : Building a qualified pipeline for complex solutions to cover months rolling period for defined region.
  • Managing Pipeline and conversion to a WIN ratio > 50%.
  • Achieve/overachieve booking and revenue targets.
  • Contribute to reporting (pipeline, forecast, winloss ratio) in order to manage achievement of booking and revenue targets.
  • Contribute to develop new areas as SD-WAN, Cloud connectivity or On Demand via building a qualified pipeline and supporting teams to win new business.
