You will provide legal support and conduct legal research as a member of an international team of lawyers, under their supervision.

Your international Privacy and Security Legal team consists of 15 attorneys and paralegals. The local Munich team consists of 10 attorneys, paralegals and admins, but you will also work with team members in other EMEA locations (e.g. UK, Ireland, Israel...) depending on projects and needs.

Your main legal work areas will be:

  • Support of Privacy and Security activities, including: review of privacy and data materials, draft, review, negotiation of contracts, support privacy assessments, global privacy and data compliance program, transfer impact assessments, dataset and AI related legal advice;
  • Maintain and further develop horizon planning documents on privacy, security, data and AI laws across the globe (including EU and local member states law);
  • Any other activities arising in the legal department e.g. software licensing, IP, competition law, IT, sales and marketing activities under the supervision of an attorney;
We are currently mostly working from home and will likely continue working in a hybrid model, i.e. a mix of home office and office work.

Whenever the situation makes it possible, around two times a week, you would spend time around two different Intel sites in Munich:
one in Neubiberg, the other one in Feldkirchen.

Duration:
one year, with a possibility of extension for an additional year.


Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:


  • You are about to finish the curriculum of the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition / Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC);
  • Showing eagerness to learn and help the team in multiple legal areas, both from a legal and business acumen perspective;
  • Working as a member of a dynamic international team, interacting with other stakeholders outside of Legal (e.g. internal clients);
  • Being able to work independently, taking initiatives while not being shy to ask for help and advice whenever needed;
  • Other language skills, beyond English, are a plus.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
