About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Flavourist to join our team in Germany to be part of the
savoury flavourist creation of new and exisitng products.

Key responsibilities:

Develop flavour formulations in line with internal and external Northern Europe customer brief requirements
Northern Europe Customer interaction as required to drive business growth including managing customer opportunities
Partner with EUM's to embed savoury taste, with focus on snack, meal, prepared meal and sauce
Use new technologies and solutions from Global Taste Innovation funnel, valuing and adapting into formulations delivering against the regional needs and expectations
Collection Development in partnerhsip with Technology Business Development and Portfolio Manager
Product compliance to all regulatory requirements in partnership with Regulatory
Link with operations to ensure efficient manufacturing of developed flavours
Follow best practices in alignment with the Savour Senior Flavourist Lead and the rest of the team
Prepare and maintain accurate recordkeeping on all assigned projects and meet project deadlines

Qualifications and skills:

English Fluent Speaker, German is a plus
Bachelor or preferably master's degree in science, Chemistry or related fields
Must have extensive experience working as a savoury flavourist with proven track record of creating savoury top note flavours, preferably process flavours and seasonings
Work Environment: mix of offices, laboratories and production/shop floor.
Ability to work in multicultural and virtual teams
Ability to present technical work to internal and external customers
Project management skills
Team player
Flexible to travel
