Finance Operations - Munich, part of the Global Finance Organization, is an internal accounting service provider to Hollister Business Units in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium and France.

This position will serve as Accountant within the Finance Operations Munich Organization. This role will serve administration support, assistance as well as backup for other accountants in the Finance Organization Munich. This position cares for correct processing of specific accounting and financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

Accounting for one or more legal entities on the GFO Munich platform, in particular:

Provision and support of all accounting and financial transactions support according to Service Level Agreements with Hollister Legal Entities, such as but not limited to Bank Statements, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and Travel Expense claims, Intercompany, Cash Management/Treasury. 65%
Ensuring correct bookkeeping and month/year end closing related to the appropriate GAAP.5%
Support of external accounting relationships including service providers, auditors and tax advisors, bank administration. 5%
Preparation of agreed financial reports for GFO Munich related entities.5%
Development of internal controls and policies and procedures 5%
Provision of assistance to financial analysts in yearly planning cycles. 5%
Communication with corporate accounting and other corporate departments.5%
Supporting preparation of balance sheets, income statements, DSO/DPO and other metrics 5%

Support of the Munich GFO Team in various projects such as but not limited to:

Setting up Key Performance Indicators for the GFO Munich Organization.
Support implementation new SAP functionality such as New Ledger.
Support Customer Credit Limit updates
Supporting "Key user" function. such as but not limited to COUPA Key User" / "SAP Key User" / "Travel expense tool Key User" / "KPI Analyzing Team")
Improvement of the administrative processes in the business entities and the Finance Munich organization.
Support development in further standardization of financial processes across Hollister Corporate.

Work Experience Requirements

Number of

Overall Years Necessary: 5-8 in an international environment

Minimum of 3 years of experience in AP / AR accounting
Basic experience for financial closing (Financial Statement, month and yearend closing)

Education Requirements
"Accountant" or similar qualification, accounting/finance focused education

Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:

Have an awareness of the activities and techniques associated with:

Knowledge of SAP R/3 FI
Familiar with IFRS / US GAAP (Plus will be familiar with local GAAP such as Germany /Netherland/Belgium/Austria/Switzerland/France)
Superior communication skills
