YOUR TEAM:

The GIS AG is the B2B data unit for vehicle data of CARIAD. We are specialist for data-driven products and services. Thereby, we act as trusted partner and service provider for the VW Group.

As an independent legal entity we are the linking pin between the Group brands as data owners, CARIAD as infrastructure developer and data users in Brands, Group and third parties.


Focusing on regulatory required data sharing (GVO) and vehicle data we are at the heart of business critical and future data business models.


As Senior Product Manager with focus on data protection of digital products & services you ensure that our digital products and services are offered and operated in a legally compliant manner.

As the central link between business, legal and development you keep all threads together and thus play an essential role in the success of our products.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Derive a roadmap for the implementation of these measures together with the responsible product owners
  • Approve increments provided by the development teams before GoLive and orchestrate a smooth handover to the operations teams
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including legal experts, sales, other product managers, product owners, developers and business stakeholders also from other Volkswagen brands with the goal to provide comprehensive, sustainable solutions
  • Evaluate existing solutions in the VW Group in regards of their usability and integrability into the GIS AG tool and process landscape
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and automation to improve overall efficiency and scalability

WHO YOU ARE:


  • Strong customer dedication, passion and handson attitude
  • Proven expertise (3+ years) in establishing legal compliance in digital products and portals with focus on requirements derived from the GDPR
  • Track record of successfully managing digital products and services in complex infrastructures, ideally in big companies and/or the automotive sector
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and crossfunctional team collaboration, ideally in SAFe environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
  • Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering highquality, customer oriented solutions
