As a Financial Business Analyst working student, you will help the Finance team (Accounting and Financial Planning & Analytics) by automating time-consuming and manual processes, finding ways to enrich our data in our systems-landscape to improve our insights, and to help come up with solutions whenever a problem needs solving.

You will fill in a unique and highly valuable role within the company understanding not only how the technology works that enable what we do, but also how our finances work.

Responsibilities:

Support in designing and testing the ERP system
Documenting various processes within the organization that touch on Finance
Gain insights into accounting and financial controlling and support further automation
Solve issues as they appear and be involved in projects where necessary
Support in the implementation of new tools and processes
Test new processes in our systems and ensure they are working properly
Assist with gathering information as well as cleaning and analyzing data in our systems
Work on our code repository (Python & SQL) to further improve our homegrown solutions

Qualifications:

Enrolled student ideally in the fields of Business Administration, IT or equivalent
First work experience (via internships, working student, etc.) in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics & IT would be advantageous
A technical person that is interested in software and enjoys modeling processes
Organized, selfstarter, detailoriented with a high degree of accuracy
Good time management, ability to meet deadlines and work in a fastpaced environment
Fluent level of English as well as excellent communications skills (written and verbal), German skills are a plus
Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills are a must
SQL, Python and various other programming skills are a plus
Modeling languages such as BPMN or UML are also a plus
