Jimdo was founded by three school friends in 2007 in a farmhouse in Northern Germany.

We have a physical location in Hamburg, Germany, where teams come together for in-person collaboration. Jimdo started as a website builder, and has helped businesses create over 32 million websites. Over the years, our portfolio evolved to specifically serve the unique needs of microbusinesses.

In addition to our GDPR-compliant website builder powered by AI, we offer an online store, logo creator, legal text generator, business listings, social media integration, SEO, and more.

You are wanted:

Jimdo's mission is to unleash the power of small business owners and help them thrive. Join us to help engage and build relationships with Jimdo users and the self-employed community.

In this role you will source microbusiness to be interviewed by our CEO for social media content purposes, as well as coordinate the logistics of the in person interviews and video shoots.


Responsibilities:


  • Organize and coordinate shoots for the CEO (Hamburg office and other locations in Germany)
  • Manage follow up communications with interviewees (media consent, sign off etc).

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or journalism
  • Ideally experience in community management, event management, or related field
  • Excellent German skills, conversational English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people
  • Creative thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and other online communities
  • Experience hosting online/offline events and webinars is a plus
  • Passion for engaging with people and building communities
  • Must be located in Germany
