You will be leading a team of engineers to develop and maintain the continuous integration and build infrastructure for worldwide teams of SW developers.

Your team is based in Boeblingen and provides tooling and services for R&D in our main development site in Boeblingen and in all our other wordwide distributed locations.

The team focusses on CI/CD, build and test infrastructure, services, solutions, delivery and support.

Main tasks:

Provide R&D with the infrastructure and solutions needed to run all services which are required for the Linux based development and build environment
Make sure that a high uptime is maintained to ensure R&D productivity and the desired service quality
Continuously improve and keep the environment fresh by doing regular updates and maintenance
Manage external partners, contracts, and budget
Take over leadership, manage the team and be the disciplinary supervisor
Provide orientation (Vision, Strategy and Goals) and guide the teams to live our company values (Advantest Integrity)
Lead, coach, train, and mentor individuals in the development team
Help the team to continuously raise their maturity level

Requirements:

Requirements:

University master's degree in computer science/engineering, software engineering or comparable qualification
Multiple years of experience in a technical lead role
Experience in agile methods (Scrum)
5+ years of active experience in terms of developing and architecting in the tooling environment
Capability to coach and train people
Profound knowledge in continuous integration / continuous delivery and build systems
Knowledge in Linux, git, Bazel, Docker, rpm, Artifactory, Amazon S3, CodeBuild, Jenkins, test frameworks, object oriented programming
Excellent communication skills
Experience in leading agile scrum teams
Team player and xfunctional networker
Selfawareness and emotional intelligence

Cando attitude, selfdriven and selfmotivated
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
