Duties:


  • Serves as Intelligence Production supervisor for a combined military, civilian, and contractor team that creates Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) products.
  • Supervises, coaches, teaches, and directs GEOINT analytic teams to improve accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of product reporting.
  • Ensures subordinates receive training and experience required to perform the work assigned.
  • Reviews operations, evaluates program effectiveness by review of reports, and discussion with subordinates.
  • Provides technical and operational advice and assistance.
  • Represents the USAREUR-AF G2 and European Command (EUCOM )J2 in GEOINT production and related venues providing technical feedback to facilitate related decisions and commitments.

  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 60085, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • This position requires the employee to sign a mobility agreement under the provisions of the agency mobility program.
  • This position is considered Non-Combat Essential (NCE) in support of the Army?s mobilization and wartime mission during periods of increased tension and mobilization and could be assigned to any location worldwide.
  • Employees assigned to NCE positions must sign DD Form 2365, stating as a condition of employment, they understand the conditions described above and the requirement to maintain certain levels of medical, security, performance.
  • Conduct, and overall fitness that make them suitable for assignment to an austere and stressful environment.
  • Failure to perform the duties of this position in an emergency may result in appropriate action defined as separation for the efficiency of the Federal service under the procedures contained in 5 CFR 752.

  • To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing oversight over the production of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) products. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS12).
  • Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligencerelated research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled.

This experience should demonstrate:

Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.

Please Note

  • If an employee brings a child to an overseas location and that child is entitled to attend a DoD school on a spacerequired basis in accordance with DoDEA Regulation , the DoDEA and the Military Department responsible for providing related services will ensure that the child, if eligible for special education, receives a free appropriate public education, including related services pursuant to DoDI and DoDM
  • If an employee brings an infant or toddler (up to 3 years of age) to an overseas location, and that infant or toddler, but for the child's age, is entitled to attend the DoDEA on a spacerequired basis in accordance with DoDEA Regulation , then the Military Department responsible for Early Intervention Services (EIS) will provide
