In the area of project scheduling at Siemens Energy Transmission, there is basically no day that is the same as the next.

Considering your duties as an integral part of the project management team, you will face new challenges every day across all project phases.


Regardless of whether you find your use in an offer project or in the execution of future-oriented electricity transmission projects, you are an active part of the energy transition.

You are part of a sustainable power supply strategy, which is to be further implemented in the coming years with many projects.


As part of your tasks, you will help to plan and implement the project's goals in teamwork and with foresight, to give the project a compass to solve any challenges that may arise in the best possible way.

As part of your work, you help design the prerequisites to secure the energy supply of the future.

Being a Junior Scheduler, you will support the Lead-Scheduler of the project.

As part of a Mentorship, you will learn the necessary processes and methodologies helping you to enhance your capabilities step-by-step.

You will continuously take over more responsibilities and duties on your way to become a Lead-Scheduler yourself.


How You'll Make an Impact

  • Setup, configuring, processing, and updating the project execution time schedule comprising about 4.000 activities with Primavera Enterprise P6 schedule planning software
  • Planning and tracking for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction of transmission plants
  • HVDC and Grid Access projects
  • Planning and coordination of project deadlines with Engineering Team Managers, Site Managers, and suppliers over the entire duration of the contract
  • Regular quantification of project progress by means of critical path analysis and Earned Value Management
  • Analysis of deviations
  • Elaborating appropriate countermeasures in the event of delays
  • Project reporting

What You Bring

  • Completed studies with a technical background or technical training with relevant professional experience
  • Practical experience in the methods of scheduling, resource and project planning and controlling, critical path analysis, network technology
  • Initial experience in the context of interfaces of the areas of engineering, manufacturing, installation and commissioning,
  • Ideally experience in PRIMAVERA Enterprise, P6 / MS Project as well as in the area of EPC projects, desirably in the field of power transmission
  • Excellent team player and willingness to learn continuously
  • Business fluent German and English, as well as intercultural experience desirable
