YOUR TEAM:

Our mission at the CARIAD ADAS & AD team is to develop one unified technology stack of driving functions for the entire VW fleet - making mobility safer and creating a new level of driving comfort.

You have the opportunity to work in an agile and highly motivated interdisciplinary team to build innovative, safe, secure and scalable systems that will shape the future of the Volkswagen group.

Our teams owns the responsibility for End to End functionalities such as lateral guidance and predictive assistance.

We consider all aspects of the working chain (perception, situation interpretation, planing, actuators) along the entire value chain, from concept phase until final release.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Responsibility for the E2Erelease of level 2 ADAS/AD lateral guidance functions
Drive decisions regarding architecture, technical solutions, timelines
Coordinate technical overarching topics
Lead the product team regarding planing, priorities, processes
Ensure the transparency and alignement with all relevant stakeholders
Report and escalate along the valueadded chain, including product management, brands, and further departments management

WHO YOU ARE:

Degree in mechatronics, computer science, automotive electrical engineering, information technology or a comparable course of study
Several years of professional experience in overall vehicle development or relevant ADAS/AD domains
Experience in series development and the corresponding processes and standards (e.g. ISO 29119, ASPICE, ECE-R79)
Excellent communication, coordination and conflict solving skills at every level
Fluent in English and German
