We are seeking our new
_Head of Marketing-Cluster Central_ (M/F /d) to join our team.

The Head of Marketing, Cluster Central Europe is responsible to drive and coordinate all marketing related initiatives and projects for Cluster Central within Medela Mum & Baby Care ( personal pumps, essentials, intimate apparel) and Medela Professional Care ( breastfeeding assortment at maternity and NICU, as well as with vacuum-technology for cardiothoracic drainage solutions)


Responsibilities:


  • Lead the Central marketing team and ensure execution of EU marketing strategies in the markets
  • Identify business needs for the Cluster, identify specific regional marketing goals and objectives, and engage with the EU marketing leadership team to develop relevant gotomarket models and activation toolkits
  • Conduct portfolio performance reviews, and understand and influence (marketing relevant) drivers of sales, and A&P expenditure through local activation, marketing resource reallocation and in alignment with the sales objectives in the markets
  • Understand consumer and customer journey and leverage insights to adapt gotomarket model and communication priorities
  • Deliver annual budget planning in the Cluster, based on EU financial and marketing masterplan guidelines
  • Partner with the Cluster Head and the Sales Directors in the markets to align priorities and support their efforts to best serve our customers
  • Ensure thorough execution of launch strategies and oversee adaptation of Global/EU assets as deployed in the regional toolkits
  • Guide the operational, daytoday activities of the marketing team and marketing manager
  • Identify new business opportunities and discuss business case assumptions with respective functions
  • Funnel market, competitive and customer learnings to create alertness to changes in the marketplace and fuel insightbased actions
  • Be a key contributor and change agent as member of the EU Marketing Leadership Team
  • Develop our talents, identify training needs, engage in annual personal performance evaluation and input to organizational initiatives
Your qualifications

  • Advanced consumer centric marketing expert, with at least 1015 years of experience including strategic and commercial business development
  • Experienced in supervising and executing new product launches and activation of marketing initiatives in excellence
  • Ideally professional roots in the Consumer Health Care Industry (OTC, cosmetics, nutrition, Medical Device), or FMCG
  • B2B experience is an advantage
  • Comfortable in digital marketing though managed EU centrally, but requires strong collaboration and input
  • German and English fluent written & spoken
  • Strong business acumen, including thorough understanding of P&L dynamics
  • Flexibility to deal with change and new challenges high resilience
  • Fosters diversity and embraces cultural differences
  • Excellent people skills combined with a result driven approach
  • Good project & performance management skills, well organized and able to prioritize
