EXPLORE is our international Group Trainee Programme for future management positions in the insurance business.

Over a period of 24 months, this cross-divisional trainee programme allows you to explore four different companies under the umbrella of Munich Re (Group).

You will gain valuable insights into the insurance business as a whole as well as into the specific aspects of reinsurance, primary insurance and asset management.

Our Group Trainee Programme is tailored to give future leaders a firm professional grounding and provide Munich Re (Group) with top talents.

Your job

A unique experience in an international context a head start for future leaders
Intensive training on and off the job to develop your professional and personal skills
A comprehensive overview of today's finance industry
An introduction to our core business processes, including strategy development, sales, product development, underwriting, claims, risk management and asset management
Two threemonth assignments to our international companies

Profile:

A Master's or doctoral degree and outstanding academic achievements in economics, law, computer science or mathematics
Genuine interest in a leadership career within the financial sector
International experience
An enquiring, openminded personality
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
Excellent command of English and one other language with high proficiency
