- Performing network and control studies for HVDC projects during offers and execution including Dynamic Performance and Interaction studies
- Preparation and first validation of detailed simulation models for power systems, such as Matlab/Simulink, PSCAD/EMTDC
- Perform computer simulations
- Study dynamic behavior of HVDC control systems
- Parametrizing HVDC control system functions
- Analyzing potential interactions between the HVDC converter and other power electronic devices in the power system via EMT simulation models
- Presenting study results to project team on the developed simulation models and explaining their documentation What You Bring
- University degree ( or equivalent) in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering or control engineering
- Fundamentals in control system theory
- Experience in power system simulation tools
- Fluent English, ideally also German
- Outstanding team skills and communication skills
