About the job:

We're looking for a CI Technical Architect to join our Professional Services organization in Germany.

You will play a leading role in delivering technical expertise for
SAS analytics platforms and CI solutions, integrating them into the broader architecture and strategy of our Banking, Insurance, and Retail customers.


As a CI Technical Architect, you will:


  • Bridge the gap between business and technology, relating business requirements to technical capabilities and translating technical jargon into clientfriendly language, especially in the space of Data, Advanced Analytics, and Industry Solutions.
  • Lead in advising our customers on how to set up processes and utilize
    SAS Software.
  • Prepare the client organization for the implementation phase and beyond, including partner involvement.
  • Assist in creating a culture mindful of technology and in balancing shortterm and longterm strategies.
  • Work closely with our customers, colleagues from Consulting and Customer Advisory, and Partners to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and business profit.

Required Qualifications:


  • Master's degree or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in business consulting.
  • Ability to effectively articulate thoughts and translate technical jargon into clientfriendly language.
  • Solid understanding of Customer Intelligence market trends and familiarity with concepts such as Generative Intelligence, Marketing Automation, Customer Data Platform, and AI.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, OpenStack, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Programming skills in one or more modern languages (scripted or compiled), e.g., KSH, Python, Perl, C, C++, Java, JavaScript.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively with others for crosstraining and knowledge transfer as part of the
    SAS oneteam.
  • Able to work against deadlines, stresstolerant, and flexible.
  • May travel as business requirements dictate at management discretion.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in German and English.
