This is a fantastic opportunity to join ublox Services Product Center where our vision is to connect and locate everything. We make it simple to communicate data between IoT devices and the enterprise.
We are looking for a new Team member to reinforce our agile solution architecture team.
You will be working closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, propose solutions, and address any technical concerns. You'll bridge the gap between sales and product development teams by translating customer needs into technical requirements.

Your responsabilities:

Acting as a solution architect, engaging with customers to understand the problem are trying to solve and translate into technical solutions to meet their business needs.
Close customer collaboration: you meet regularly with the client, internal development teams and product owners where you will be an advocate and voice for client requirements.
Involved in postsales support, you bridge the gap between the sales team and the product development team
Providing proof points that show customers the value of ublox services offering
Hone your existing skills and develop new ones. Learning and creating best practices. People teach and learn from each other continuously.
Open and honest technical discussions, with good enough, conscious decisions as an outcome
Continuous improvement of both the product and the way it is being delivered
A supportive, welcoming working atmosphere
Close customer collaboration
Very low decision latency

Your Skills and Experience:

Education in the field of Engineering or applied sciences
Programming experience with Python scripting.
Understanding of IoT protocols, particularly MQTT.
Experience in one or more specific IoT / embedded / M2M industry (i.e. home automation, business automation, asset tracking, smart utilities, etc.)
Knowledge of GNSS and ideally highprecision positioning.
Proficiency in English.

Capable to cope with diverse cultural environment and remote teams
Great problem solving skills
Be able to balance between three competing factors of "customer desirability", "business viability" and "technical feasibility".
Capability to work independently
Capability of quickly learning new technical concepts
Interested in learning evolving technology and develop new skills
Works well with software development tools and state of art software development processes
Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation
Travel ~ 10%
