Beschreibung

We are looking for a Cabin Procurement Line Side Manager (D/F/M) for Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Hamburg joining the Cabin FAL (Final Assembly Line) Interface Front Office for Single Aisle program.


As a member of the Airbus Procurement Operation organization you'll become responsible to coordinate supplier outstanding work on cabin furnishing equipment and act as the central interface between various internal and external stakeholders.

In this frame you'll work in a multifunctional team to foster decision making and avoid disturbances during the cabin furnishing process with the aim of delivering in line with program objectives.


Your location:

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • Manage all issues related to cabin furnishing and deliveries of BFE/SFE cabin equipment, ensure full transparency and availability at cabin furnishing start (COD)
  • Mitigate risks and implement corrective actions and recovery plans to allow reliable AIRBUS planning. Avoid disturbances of the AIRBUS
- industrial processes in close coordination with FAL including setting of priorities.

  • Manage all outstanding work activities (NC) requiring escalation as interface between the field support team and their home bases, coordinated with procurement (POC and PC) functions.
  • Analyze disturbances in the delivery processes. Support to return shipments of BFE/SFE equipment to either suppliers, customers or back to the stock at AIRBUS.
  • Focal point for the BFE/SFE supplier management activities according to valid procedures, ensure quality in process to support customer satisfaction in terms of cabin.
  • Ensure clear communication with FAL & ADC through weekly reports and regular participation in operational meetings.
  • Provide KPIs and evaluations related to cabin suppliers activities and quality of deliverables
    .

Desired skills and qualifications:

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Industrial engineering
  • At least 5 years experience in manufacturing and procurement
  • Experience in the process
  • Team player with good communications skills
  • Strong resistance to stress
  • Very good knowledge in German and English
