WHAT WE OFFER


The CCO (Chief Commercial Officer) Community has responsibility for innovation management, supply chain management, Central Marketing and the commercial activities of our business units.

This includes the Polyurethanes, Polycarbonates, and Coatings, Adhesives, and Specialties segments.- In your new role, you will support the regional Architectural & Construction strategy implementation from a sales perspective with a focus on Middle East Africa and EEMEA and develop existing customer base- Also, you will be responsible for generating opportunities for additional business with existing customers (upselling) and establish a stakeholder management with key decision makers at the customer- You will define and submit the annual plan of sales activities by customer in the defined responsibility based on analyses and market evaluations- You will use analyses of historical trends as well as future projections jointly developed with other functions and perform relevant checks and corrective actions in case of deviations and on the basis of market developments- Furthermore, you will monitor and coordinate the execution of the account plan, report on the basis of defined performance indicators and take corrective actions, in order to achieve the results- You will build and manage customer relationships for regional accounts - be the go-to-person (m/w/d) for orchestrating the commercial and technical activities at the account and for organizing regular review meetings with the customer- You will support in conducting contract and price agreements with the respective account(s) and ensure the conclusion of sales contracts and price levels within the agreed price volume targets; you will define and implement projects at customer with focus on key products, processes and innovation- Finally, you will follow up on market trends and unmet needs in the relevant markets in order to identify new opportunities, growth potentials and support the regional Architectural & Construction strategy turning them into new profitable business

WHAT YOU OFFER- You hold a university degree (bachelor's or master's) in business science and/or commercial experience (min 3 years) complemented by basic technical knowledge in the coatings & adhesives industry- Or you bring a university degree in natural sciences (chemistry, paint chemistry, polymer chemistry, technical chemistry) or comparable experience complemented by commercial experience in the chemical industry- Besides, your profile shows several years of professional work experience in technical sales and/or customer service in the chemical industry- You combine strong analytical and result-oriented skills with excellent communication and negotiation skills- You are characterized by a results-oriented, flexible, highly motivated and disciplined work style- You are a strong teamplayer (M/F/d) with a "challenger (M/F/d)" mindset and strong leadership

  • Furthermore, you bring the ability to work with a diverse group of contacts from different cultures
  • Fluent English skills, written and spoken, round up your profile. a local regional language would be an added value
