In order to support the department " ME Transv. Operat. Ind. Means", Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a


FCAS 2023 Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Means Specialist - Jigs & Tools (d/mf/f):
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • Define, specify, implement and support for industrial means according to customers requirement according ergonomics standards.
  • Manage and monitor contractual relationships with supplier to successfully ensure to deliver on time on cost, on quality with relevant supply chain organization.
  • Manage state of art of technology to provide the best solution for current o future business requirement.
  • Support manufacturing feedback for continuous improvement, Kaizen, PPS.
  • As part of the MFT FCAS Ind. Means, this person will launch and manage the Ind. Means Technical Specifications for FCAS program according to top level plan and concurrence evolution
  • Contribute to the Integrated Master Planning, ensuring Industrial Means milestones are met
  • OQOTOCCoordination with General Procurement for suppliers selection
  • CapEx preparation with CapEx planner
  • Manage and monitor the diferent steps for design, manufacturing, delivery and handover to the site of the Ind. Means affected
  • Manage Risks and Opportunities for industrial Means activities affected. Anticipate and set up proper mitigation plans
  • Coordinate with Ind. Means Quality the processes for delivery, set up, acceptance and handover to maintenance to each site involved

Desired skills and qualifications:


  • University degree in industrial / aeronautical engineering or equivalent
  • Superior analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • The reliability and devotion for working in a team environment
  • Knowledge of SAP would be a plus
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance
  • Manufacturing / Manufacturing Engineering knowledge
  • Experience working in International Environment/teams will be a plus
  • Customeroriented Mindset
  • English is fluent, verbally and written
  • German would be a plus
