Research Associate (m/f/d) Integration of Artificial Intelligence in Cognitive Sensor Technology in Dresden
The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft ) currently operates 76 institutes and research facilities in Germany and is the world's leading organization for application-oriented research. Around 30,000 employees work on the annual research volume of 2.9 billion euros.
Adaptivity is an indispensable characteristic for the networked world of tomorrow. Intelligent components can recognize and evaluate changes in the environment or in the system itself and adapt to them independently. As a partner to industry, Fraunhofer IIS/EAS and its 110 employees develop key technologies for adaptive systems and offer innovative and robust solutions.
Intelligent multi-sensor systems, especially for industrial applications, are one of IIS/EAS's areas of innovation. In addition to the expansion of classic signal processing in sensor technology through methods of artificial intelligence, methods for optimizing reliability, robustness and energy requirements are to be developed here.

Appointment, remuneration and social security benefits based on the public-sector collective wage agreement (TVöD). Additionally Fraunhofer may grant performance-based variable remuneration components. The weekly working time is 39 hours. The position can also be filled part time. The position is initially limited to 2 years.
