WHAT YOU'LL DO:


As a Practice Area Senior Coordinator (PAC) role within BCG's Global Advantage (GA) Practice Area, you will own and drive defined, large or complex GA activities or processes with mínimal guidance, supporting the management of practice initiatives.

A core part of this role is to interact directly with PA leadership around several GA initiatives including GA meeting preparation, regional and global leadership call facilitation, and affiliation initiatives.


You will act as PMO for GA events, effectively driving the coordination and management of leadership, regional and global meetings.

You will also support global people related initiatives and effectively advise GA leadership on affiliation recruiting, retention, and pipeline planning.

You will create and implement programs designed to increase internal awareness of the practice to drive greater affiliation. You will support annual, monthly and ad-hoc business reporting tasks, including budgeting, financial analysis and financial controlling. You will help to implement selected global initiatives with GPMD and GA leadership.

YOU'RE GOOD AT:


  • Building a strong network in the PA and beyond by leveraging a robust understanding of GA's business to make decisions
  • Supporting, and in some cases, driving complex, ambiguous PA processes that routinely require independent judgment, tradeoffs, or prioritization
  • Supporting and in some cases, driving the organization of internal and external PA global or regional affiliation meetings and client events
  • Helping others navigate the practice network and supporting onboarding of team members
  • Accurately providing financial and business analysis
  • Exercising judgement to contribute beyond GA, thinking analytically through alternatives

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS):

  • 46+ years relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • The ability to handle defined PA processes or smaller projects with mínimal guidance (sourcing, learning programs, etc.)
  • The ability to make independent decisions within existing guidelines, advising more junior team members
  • Exceptional organizational, planning and project management skills; strong at conceptualization, followthrough, ownership, and accountability. High attention to detail.
  • Solid analytical skills (e.g. for business reporting tasks) and a structured way of thinking
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a global collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, service oriented, proactive, and flexible attitude. Able to tolerate ambiguity and transform ideas into workable solutions
  • Advanced knowledge in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel

YOU'LL WORK WITH:


You will coordinate closely with regional and global GA Leadership, including the GA People Lead, the Global Practice Management Director, Topic Managers as well as the Business Services team, alongside other Practice Area Coordinators both within the practice and across others.

This is a truly global team so the individual must be willing to work across timezones
