Role And Responsibilities

  • Providing advice and support on the provision of our products and services
  • Drafting legal documentation for internal stakeholders, senior management and regulatory authorities
  • Working collaboratively with Legal colleagues, other business and Corporate stakeholders in multiple jurisdictions

Minimum Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • German qualified lawyer, with at least 5 years postqualification experience in a top law firm and/or inhouse financial services Legal team
  • Broad knowledge of law and regulations governing the provision of banking and investment products and services
  • Quality product, technical, legal and other risk awareness skills and an ability to work across a broad set of products and services
  • Strong knowledge of ECB / BaFin supervisory regime for German authorised credit institutions and investment firms
  • Banking products and associated banking/payments regulation (CRD IV, PSD II, KWG, ZAG)
  • Working in or advising a credit institution

Additional Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience of advising clients who operate digital service delivery channels
