Your mission:


With immediate effect, we are looking to hire a full-time
Technical Research Assistant [M/F/d]. You will be responsible for performing and analyzing Molecular Cartography experiments both for R&D projects and customer projects.

This spatial multi-omics technique combines the detection of RNA transcripts, proteins, and established histological stainings.

The role will be based in the company's headquarters of Monheim, Germany. This role reports to the project lead scientist Dr. Tobias Otto.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan and execute wet lab experiments
  • Execution and analysis of Molecular Cartography spatial transcriptomics experiments for R&D and customer projects
  • Execution and analysis of protein multiplex stainings
  • Execution and analysis of H&E stainings
  • Execution and analysis of sample QC
  • Experiment documentation and results presentation
  • Participation and active contribution to group meetings
  • General lab organization tasks

Your profile:


Your profile:


  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biology (or related Science) or a training as Technical Assistant in Biology (BTA), Chemistry (CTA), or Medical Sciences (MTA)
  • Experience in Molecular Biology
  • Good computer skills
  • Basic programming skills (R or Python) are a plus
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop new technologies
  • Analytical skills to push new developments forward
  • Strong engagement and selfinitiative
  • Willingness to take over responsibility
