A position is open to coordinate the SciNetID (Single Cell Regulatory Networks in Development and Disease), a scientific network led by Eileen Furlong (EMBL), Josephine Bageritz (Heidelberg University), Karsten Rippe (DKFZ) and Julio Saez-Rodriguez (Heidelberg University Hospital).


You will join an international and interdisciplinary group of single cell scientists across Heidelberg organizations (Heidelberg University, Heidelberg and Mannheim University Hospitals, DKFZ and EMBL).


  • The post will be hosted in the group of Julio Saez-Rodriguez at the Institute for Computational Biomedicine at Heidelberg University Hospital.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

***- Your work will include coordinating all scientific activities, cross
- organisation of spatial-omics technology exchange, and scientific consultation about spatial omics technologies. You will also support the organisation of meetings and events, preparation of reports, and management of internal and external communication.


Prerequisites:

***A very good command of English, in speaking and writing is required for this position. German language skills are helpful for communication with the administration of the university hospital. As you will be working in an international team of scientists, intercultural competence and an inclusive, open mind-set are essential.
