THE POSITION:

This position is limited for 2 years.

Tasks & responsibilities:

In your new Role you will be responsible for simulation and optimization of solid drug manufacturing processes to make highquality medicine through the integration of Quality by Design principles
You will develop and implement stateoftheart models and predictive tools and, together with all relevant stakeholders, transform models into use cases
You will create mechanistic and AI models for continuous and batch processesIn addition, you will set up efficient data treatment pipelines to interlink models and process data
Requirements:
Ph.

in process engineering, pharmaceutical engineering, applied mathematics or similar Proficiency in process simulation and/or in process optimization Familiarity in the processing and characterization of powders and granules Knowledge in some of modern modeling approaches, e.g.

population balance models (PBM), discrete element method (DEM), flowsheet simulation and programming languages e.g.

Python, C++, Matlab Knowledge in data science and machine learning would be beneficial Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to actively contribute to interdisciplinary teams.

Scientific mindset, analytical skills, quick comprehension of complex problems Very good command of English for international communication and as established reporting language, good command of German language would be beneficial
