About the role:
The Diagnosis and connected solutions senior specialist will be bases in Leinfelden, Germany.

Daily following up on updating of vehicles via OTA, troubleshooting and reporting of issues when needed, ensuring to reach KPI's and improving the quality of the product, proposing better workflows to increase capacity.


Responsibilities:


  • You are in charge of developing everyday solutions whilst working in a very dynamic environment between different cultures and mindsets
  • You ensure a smooth process to update the vehicle software via OTA (Overtheair communication)
  • You will operate the OTA platform via different launch scenario's and export reports
  • You troubleshoot, report and follow up on potential issues.
  • You are a key stakeholder for the Quality Team as well as HQ regarding OTA related topics/issues; providing test results and customer feedback
  • You provide 2nd Level Technical Support on OTA issues (potentially traveling to a European location where the vehicle may be located)
  • You prepare OTA relevant knowledge articles and Q&A's for Customer Engagement Center, Retail Engagement Center and smart Authorized Retailers
  • You will be the interface with local suppliers for swift operations
  • You provide 'Change Requests' for the OTA Platform and make proposals for system integrations and automated output

What you bring along:

  • You have an experience of working in a similar OTA environment
  • You have a good Automotive technical understanding, ideally of electrical vehicles
  • You have knowledge and understanding of workshop repair operations/methods
  • You have experience in Management or implementation of solutions related to OTA
  • You have strong interest in new software updating mechanics in automotive area
  • You have good IT skills and understanding on data management principles
  • You are selfdriven and outofthebox working way
  • You have excellent organization skills (ability to manage multiple tasks)
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills (English is essential)
