About the Role:

We are seeking a talented working student to join our marketing team. As a marketing working student you will be helping with translating and localizing marketing content into German.

You will be able to learn real world localization workflows and translation techniques, tools and best practices within a global team.

This will require you to conduct research into industry-specific terminology and ensure that the translated content accurately conveys the original meaning and tone.

Additionally, you will need to check the quality of translated material and proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy.

You will work closely with internal team members to ensure that the translated content meets their needs and assets are well prepared for translation.

This will involve following up with team members to gather feedback and make any necessary changes to the translated material.

What You'll Be Doing:
Translate and localize marketing content into German
Conduct research into industryspecific terminology and ensure that the translated content accurately conveys the original meaning and tone
Check quality of translated material and proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy
Guarantee a seamless production process of different asset types like web pages, data sheets or blogposts
Follow up with internal team members to ensure translations meet their needs
Take part in project management for other localization tasks
Other duties as assigned

About You:

Nativelevel fluency in German (C2+) and fluency in English (C1)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Great interest in IT topics
PC skills and ability to learn tools and processes
Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
Timemanagement skills, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Bonus Skills:

Additional language proficiency
Experience with WordPress and/ or translation software
SEO and Content marketing are well known topics for you
You know how to write Search Ads and appealing headlines
