topi is creating the tech infrastructure that will allow any retailer or manufacturer to offer their products as a hardware subscription to business customers.

As Head of Business Development you will be responsible for identifying and establishing, strategic partnerships with Sellers as well as other key strategic partners.

You will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and maximising revenue opportunities with new Retailers in the electronics space in Germany and Austria.

You will be working closely with the broader commercial team, as well as the Product Development team in translating partner needs into opportunities for growth.


In this role you will:

- define a clear GTM strategy and approach
- identify new partners (sellers and strategic partners) across the b2b electronics space and later other verticals
- build and drive strong relationships with new prospective partners, understanding their business goals and identifying opportunities for collaboration and revenue generation. Be strategic in your approach, build world-class presentations that convince future partners to work with topi
- close the sellers and support a smooth onboarding process
- work closely with topi's broader Sales and Marketing teams to maximise the growth opportunities of new and existing partners.
- work closely with our product team, bringing in the customer and other insights to support both existing and new products.
- develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, staying up to date with industry trends and competitive landscape.

  • Lead discussions with the leadership and broader team on how to improve our offerings and gotomarket for partners
  • Own pipeline and revenue growth for new partners

Who we're looking for


You will have experience working in startups or other fast-paced environments and have a proven track record of identifying and growing revenue through great partner relationships.


  • You have at least 23 years of partnership development or business development experience, ideally within the B2B Electronics, B2B Finance or startup/scaleup space.
  • You have a track record of exceeding new sales and expansion targets.
  • You are customer obsessed: you have experience achieving and expanding on partnerships in the German market, including nurturing customer relationships with stakeholders at leadership level.
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for building relationships with stakeholders at all organisational levels, both internally and externally.
  • You have excellent communication and facilitation skills, in both German and English.
  • You have excellent analytical skills and use data effectively to drive strategy and make decisions.
