The role:


We're looking for a
people-focused, curious and results-driven People + Talent Lead passionate about designing, implementing, and managing impactful people solutions that enable all topis to do their best as we work together towards topi's mission.


As the People + Talent Lead, you'll be supporting all topis throughout the employee lifecycle, from the first time someone hears about topi to how we engage and develop a high-performing team.


In this role you will:

  • Manage
    endtoend recruitment processes, sourcing directly and supporting hiring managers and interviewers throughout and continuously improving and implementing innovative strategies to attract top talent.
  • Lead
    internal communication efforts to ensure a transparent, engaging, and collaborative culture, adapted to our remotefirst ways of working
  • Manage the
    full employee lifecycle, from when a topi joins ensuring they have everything ready to delight them, to exit interviews and ensuring their experience throughout was positive and of growth.
  • Manage and deliver on key people processes and tasks, from onboarding to payroll, ensuring high quality and attention to detail.
  • Manage and build on our performance, talent development, and reward programmes to drive growth and high performance.

Coach and collaborate with managers on all things people related, from workforce planning, onboarding, employee relations & investigations, to career development and mobility.

  • Look at
    peopledata across a variety of sources to identify trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity.
  • Serve as a
    resource for all employees to answer peoplerelated questions, support their journey, and coach where needed.
  • You will support and collaborate with others in organising initiatives that support
    belonging and teamwork, from our companywide offsites, to remote team events, or even our Supercharge Week.
  • Ensure
    compliance with employment law and regulations in the countries we operate, including keeping data integrity in our HR systems to be able to derive meaningful insights.
  • Being a
    cultural ambassador, championing our values and making sure they're part of all of everything we do.

About you:


You've got experience working in a tech startup as a Talent Manager, HR Generalist or People Operations/Partner and leading or supporting a variety of projects across the employee lifecycle.

Ideally, you will have worked on a remote-first environment with a hybrid setup.

Adaptability, flexibility, and organisation - as a growing startup, a lot changes every single day. You need to be adaptable to constant change, reprioritise to drive the biggest impact, and get hands-on one minute and drive an organisational change discussion the other.

You care deeply about data-informed decisions - you're used to using data to find patterns, drive action, and provide insights to inform people strategy.

  • You have a
    strong operational knowledge of German employment law and HR compliance and have an understanding of UK or Spanish legislation and translate it to practise with a caring, pragmatic, valuesaligned approach.
  • You have
    experience supporting a wide range of employees and leaders, from first time managers to experienced Executives.
  • You enjoy
    building relationships, collaborating, and learning from other teams and functions you're naturally curious and know that different experiences and backgrounds lead to the best solutions.
  • You care deeply about building
    inclusive and equitable environments where topis from all different backgrounds can thrive.

What you can expect in your first 6 months:


  • Supporting our managers: you will be supporting managers in a variety of topics, coaching, offering advice, helping drive initiatives in their employee groups, for example, following results from engagement surveys.

Continuously improving our remote ways of working: you'll drive new initiatives to improve areas that enable our new hybrid ways of working. As a team where there is a mix of in-office and full-remote topis, ensuring the right collaboration, communication and connection is key.
