LeanIX is looking for an Accounts Payable Associate in Bonn, Germany. You will play a crucial role in managing the accounts payable function and ensuring accurate and timely payment processing. You will be responsible for invoice processing, vendor management, reconciliations, and employee expense processing. This role offers the chance to contribute to process improvements and work collaboratively with the accounting team


Responsibilities:


  • Process invoices and credit card statements accurately and efficiently, verifying details and obtaining necessary approvals
  • Manage vendor relationships, including resolving payment discrepancies and addressing inquiries
  • Initiate, execute, and verify manual bank transfers accurately and within specified timeframes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support and further develop the use of spend management software (e.g Spendesk, Payhawk, Navan).
  • Process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and timely reimbursement
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Assist in generating reports and analysis related to accounts payable activities
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in accounts payable processes

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • 24 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices
  • Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Detailoriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, German/Dutch a plus
