Our client is a European bank that operates in several countries across the globe and provides a broad range of products and financial services to individuals, corporates and institutions.

The Frankfurt branch is looking for a Senior Coverage Banker.

This financial professional will be responsible for developing relationships with key clients in the Nordic Region, which includes Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

This involves understanding their financial needs, providing them with customized financial solutions, and ensuring that they receive excellent client service.


Responsibilities:


  • Close cooperation with the industry teams at head office and the product specialists at the branch.
  • Advising on financing transactions throughout the entire cycle: from responding to requests for proposals to structuring, negotiation and execution
  • Organize and attend meetings and negotiations with Group Treasurers/CFOs/CEOs across different industries, e.g. Construction, Infrastructure & Real Estate, TMT & Services, Industrials & Consumer Goods, Food &Beverage, Healthcare & Chemicals
  • Liaise with relevant teams within the Bank, including the Syndicate Desk, Project Finance, Asset Finance, Trade & Working Capital, ALM Desk
  • Prepare memorandums and proposals for internal stakeholders
  • Participate in the negotiation of the structure and the legal documentation for complex transactions
  • Develop innovative solutions and pursue a clientdriven coverage approach
  • Strong knowledge of the Corporate Universe in the Nordic region and deep product expertise across debt, trade & working capital, as well as project and asset finance
  • Indepths understanding of financial markets and products in the Nordics,
  • To build trust and credibility with clients, a deep understanding of the cultural and business practices in the region would be highly beneficial.
  • Several years of experience in a corporate clientfacing role
  • Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Innovative thinker with commercial judgment
  • Proven track record of revenue generation
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and ideally two Nordic languages (Danish, Finnish, Norwegian or Swedish)
