In this role you will be responsible for technical day to day offshore operations reporting to the local Site Manager.

The role is by default in the Service Operations Vessel warehouse offshore but throughout the ramp-up phase of this project in 2023 office work from onshore will be required including frequent travel to the project site.


Technician - and Customer management will play an integral part of the day to day role, so leadership and communication skills are vital.

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for receiving, inspecting and registering parts and to perform various transactions in SAP.

The Operations Coordinator needs to ensure that all stock movements are in an accurate and auditable manner and to meet the demands of operational requirements.

In addition, the Operations Coordinator is supporting the daily coordination on Site incl. short term planning, marine coordination and SAP tasks.

How to contribute to our vision

  • First and foremost maintain a safe, clear and clean storage environment. Ensure all procedures are followed and communicated to provide accurate stock.
  • Goods Movement including the ordering of (non)turbine related material, receiving, picking, packing, issuing and dispatching inventory whilst maintaining fully auditable records in the SAP system accurately.
  • Ensure that material is booked on orders after consumption. Ensure that the good movement fits to logistic concept and custom requirements.
  • Support Site Management and the Joint Operations Center in Hamburg with daily coordination, short term planning and marine coordination.
  • Work with team members to ensure clear hand over at shift change, maintaining operational service.
  • Order tools, rental tools and consumables (i.e. gloves) to support daily operations.
  • Track demand and organize in date recertification with external and internal suppliers of all rented and bought tooling.
  • Escalate late deliveries towards Service Sales if needed.
  • Tracking of safety related equipment: responsible that site related safety equipment and lifting equipment is in date.
  • Ensure that all certificates are signed and available for inspections according to the country law and Siemens Gamesa regulations.
  • Provide data for custom clearance and sign custom manifests for exporting and importing.
  • Check and release invoices from external suppliers.
  • Prepare and declare dangerous goods for transport and ensure safe handling of dangerous goods at site. Document inventory of dangerous goods according to country law. Check shelf life of dangerous goods on a regular basis.
  • Managing of inventory count and waste management.
What you need to make a difference

  • Have Ownership of Environment, Quality, Safety and Operational topics.
  • Are a team player combined with good experience in Logistics
  • Are able to ensure consistency also over different shifts.
  • Are flexible regarding work demand, proactive regarding tackling challenges and result driven regarding project outcomes and you show high commitment and engagement throughout.
  • Have good knowledge of spoken and written English (Advanced level); additional languages (especially German or Danish) are considered a benefit.
  • Comprehensive IT user skills:
  • MS Office and Windows 365 is a must
  • Practical experience with SAP is needed
  • IATA training for packing of dangerous goods is desirable
  • MORS knowledge is a plus
  • Customer focus and an always professional behavior towards clients and colleagues are selfevident
  • Have the ability to work 14 day shifts offshore throughout the year according to business demands.
