The Chair of Quantum Information at the Faculty of Computer Science is looking for two

Postdoc Positions (m,f,x) for 2 years with 39,83 hours per week (TV-L E 13):

Your tasks:

You will creatively combine ideas from different areas to make progress on central questions in the theory of computing.
You will work on fundamental research questions (such as the above) as part of a diverse international and interdisciplinary team.
You will publish and present your research results in top conferences and journals.

Your profile:

You have an excellent academic track record in ideally at least one of the following areas: theoretical computer science, quantum computing, algebraic geometry, invariant theory, representation theory, mathematical optimization, or similar.
You are curiosity driven, enjoy combining creativity with mathematical precision, and are open to interdisciplinary collaborations.
You are fluent in written and spoken English (no German required).
