Your mission:


With immediate effect, we are looking to hire a full-time Laboratory Technician (M/F/d) to support our Assay Development Team as part of the Research and Development organization in Monheim am Rhein.


Responsibilities:


  • Planning, execution, and documentation of experiments on our Molecular Cartography Platform and on other test systems focusing on targeted gene panel design
  • Basic evaluation and analysis of molecular biology and imaging data downstream of the experiments
  • Sample preparation including histological sectioning (cryotome and microtome)
  • Establish Quality Control measures, perform inprocess controls as well as Verification and Validation Studies
  • Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
  • Participation and active contribution to group meetings

Your profile:


Your profile:


  • A completed degree as BTA, CTA, Biologielaborant or equivalent qualification
  • Industry experience is a major plus
  • Hands on experience with molecular biology and biochemical techniques, proficiency to work with nucleic acids (especially RNA) and proteins and ideally, with sequential single molecule FISH experiments like Molecular Cartography
  • English language skills are required, German language skills are beneficial
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willing and able to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
  • You are handson and someone, who is willing to do what it takes to get the job done
  • You are passionate to work in agile, intercultural teams in a fastpaced startup
