- Approval of ship arrangements, ship piping and machinery piping systems with focus on all alternative fuels
- Support to key customers and DNV field organization

- An engineering degree (Bachelor or Master) in relevant disciplines (naval architect, marine engineering, machinery or similar) with approx. 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with machinery piping systems approval of our main ship types (CV, MPV)
- Preferably experience in the field of fire safety
- Ability to handle several projects in parallel
- Willingness to perform business trips to support our clients as well as our worldwide organization
- Quick learner and data smart
- Team player with a positive attitude who strive to obtain results for the team
- Open-minded and curious
- Good communication skills, verbally and in writing. Preferably good knowledge of German language. Company language is English.

We are seeking a skillful, curious and agile Approval Engineer in our Stability & Safety section located in Hamburg, Germany. You will be part of our team of 11 highly qualified engineers, who are responsible for stability and safety approval of Container Ships and Multi-Purpose Vessels. We are frequently involved in the pre contract support, in-process design and approval of novel fuel arrangements for new buildings and retrofits in the dynamic container ship segment.
