At Deep Blue Recruitment, we are hiring a Senior Legal Counsel for a European start-up specialising in renewable energy. You will manage a wide range of legal topics for Germany and report directly to the General Counsel.

This is an interesting opportunity to join an organisation dedicated to delivering carbon-free energy to the world.

Tasks

Providing legal support in relation to renewable energy projects in Germany from evaluation and acquisition through to construction and operations and across a variety of legal practice areas covering the entire project life cycle; M&A, finance, commercial contracts, public law, regulatory, disputes etc.
Reviewing and negotiating a range of project/commercials contracts, including power purchase agreements, land lease agreements, consultancy agreements, joint venture agreements and financing agreements.
Advising on company law, corporate governance, and legal compliance activities.
Advising on a wide range of legal matters affecting the business operations.

Requirements:

4+ years experience in the renewable energy sector in Germany.
Strong technical legal skills, combined with an ability to take a strategic, pragmatic and commercial view.
Strong communication skills with ability to build 'trusted adviser' relationship.
Proven track record of significant contribution to the successful completion of numerous transactions or projects.
You are fluent in English and German language.
