Your Responsibilities
Embark on a thrilling journey in the Marine HR world. As an Intern/ Working Student, you will ensure the smooth sailing for our Seafarers. From compliance checks to medical exams and visas, you will set the course for vessels heading towards the World. But that's not all, you will maintain digital personnel files, verifying certificates, dive into HR processes and much more.

  • Assist to ensure that all embarking Seafarers are trained and qualified in full compliance with Company's, STCW and Flag State requirements, have passed medical examinations as required and obtained relevant Visa's prior joining a vessel
  • Support administrative tasks such as maintaining digital personnel files, preparing employment contracts, checking certificates and attending corresponding alerts in the HR software system
  • Assist the team on conducting crew changes in compliance with the Seafarers' Employment Agreement
  • Support the ongoing development of HR processes (Exit Interviews, Crew Planning & Delegation)
  • Any other tasks and organizational duties as assigned

Your Profile

  • Active enrolment for Bachelor's or Master's degree with focus on Human Resource Management, Shipping, Shipmanagement, Office Administration or equivalent
  • Ideally first professional experiences in the area of Business Administration or Human Resources Management
  • Very good English language skills (English is our company language.)
  • Experience with MS Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Structured and organized way of working
  • Service oriented personality with a sense for communication
