Job Summary/Purpose:


  • Lead an aligned Sandoz approach to key crosscutting policy challenges that have the potential to impact Sandoz business models and performance.
  • Represent Sandoz visavis key international policy stakeholders such as national governments, intra
- und supra-governmental institutions and other international or-ganizations, and advocate for Sandoz policy positions that have the potential to im-pact the freedom Sandoz has to run its business.

  • Monitor and analyze the international policy landscape in the generics and broader healthcare markets to assess potential risks and benefits to Sandoz, and to develop action plans to engage on behalf of the company
  • Coordinate policy response and global policy development across Sandoz business and functions

Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead the external stakeholder dialogue as a facilitator and "broker" on behalf of Sandoz
  • Feed feedback and external requirements into the Sandoz internal policy creation process and liaising with other functions across Corporate Affairs and the broader organization as applicable
  • Provide input into the development of Sandoz global policy, including initiating new policies
  • Drive internal and external communications on Sandoz policies
  • Act as deputy PA&EE team lead.

Minimum Requirements:


What you'll bring to the role:

  • 10+ years experience in Comms/ Public Affairs roles with a significant time in relevant global companies
  • Experienced in representing the organization, lobbying and collaborating across boundaries
  • Dedicated PGA experience in the US and Europe and ideally Asia Pacific, Africa or LATAM
  • Managing Crises & Critical Negotiations
  • Knowledge of current and future global business trends
