About the job
We're looking for a HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team in Germany (Heidelberg).

By joining our HR department, you will report to the HR Director and you will support the team on various topics:

administration, Workday, contracts, onboarding, payroll,You will also get the possibility to interact and work with other departments from SAS.

We offer a 2 years' contract (maternity leave) as full time / part time employee or student.


As a HR Coordinator, you will

  • Be responsible for the daytoday HR activities and processes to ensure efficient operations.
  • Accompany the entire onboarding and offboarding process of the employees with regard to all administrative activities.
  • Process all employee related documents and statements, for example contract documents, workers council hearings, onboarding documents as well as references.
  • Administer all aspects of HR transactions in the global HRIS system and be responsible for the data quality.
  • Support and participate in assigned HR projects and initiatives.
  • Act as department liaison and respond to general inquiries from HR customers, managers and employees and escalate potential issues appropriately.

Required Qualifications

  • First experience in a similar role within an HR department is a plus.
  • Very good knowledge of the common Microsoft Office software.
  • Willingness to develop and build new skills on HR related topics.
  • Good listening and writing skills in German and English.
  • Experience with a HR software (Workday) is considered as an advantage.
  • Knowledge or first experience in payroll is considered as a plus.
