Corporate Governance teams play a key leading role in the identification, definition and implementation of security rules for Airbus and its Divisions.

Our teams' engagement is to anticipate at best the upcoming security threats and constraints to ensure Airbus's compliance and protection at all time, across all divisions around the world.

You will be in charge of contributing to the deployment of the Airbus Security strategy while ensuring that we take into account the existing and upcoming security regulations.

Your location
The largest production site for civil aircraft can be found in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe means that you will travel to work by ship. The vibrant port of Hamburg is a green and cosmopolitan city brimming with culture.

Your tasks and responsibilities

You will identify and analyze worldwide security laws and regulations with a focus on the German scope and share your advice on their implementation keeping Airbus business interests at heart.
Based on your regulatory knowledge you will establish the business impact for our Company and share with our operational teams your potential recommendation for mitigation.
You will work closely with the rest of the Airbus Corporate Security teams and be part of the relevant projects to ensure compliance to the identified security regulations, and where required, you will assist the project team in the formulation of evidence for submission to our National Security Authorities, especially for the German scope.
Airbus being a manufacturer of civilian and defence products, your advice will be required on German defence regulations to ensure our compliance working closely with our local National Authority focal point.
In addition, you will ensure our supply chain security level remains at its best by implementing and negotiating the Airbus Security requirements within our contracts with suppliers, working closely with Airbus procurement teams across our divisions.
Finally, you will be the representative in Germany of the Corporate Security Governance by supporting locally the deployment of our projects (awareness, operational deployments,).

Desired skills and qualifications

You hold a degree in law or comparable
You are aware of topics regarding security (including Cybersecurity)
You have the ability to extract relevant information and convert it into business instructions
You are able to work autonomously on various projects
You are communicative and have high negotiation skills
You have a very structured approach to process workload
Your english is fluent, any other language is of advantage
