This role is a fixed term contract for 2 years covering our HRBP who is out on maternity leave. You are required to work out of our Berlin office Tuesday - Thursday with Mondays and Fridays being remote.

This
HR Business Partner position plays a crucial role as our HR advisor to our Conductor GmbH team.

As HR Business Partner, you will be tasked with implementing, driving, and executing HR strategies that align with our overall business objectives.

This includes ensuring compliance with local labor law regulations, implementation of the various HR programs, HR Systems and Performance Management while working closely with the global people team.

This position reports to the Regional HR Manager, HRBP.


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for building trustbased relationships with the business leaders, people managers, and individual contributors for Conductor GmbH.
  • Drive the local implementation of HR initiatives, aligning with our broader HR strategy and business needs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to enhance our work culture, focusing on sustainability and health and wellbeing across Conductor GmbH.
  • Implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support our global vision and business objectives with a keen eye on promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Guide leaders on people management issues, ensuring compliance with HR processes (e.g., staffing, performance management, employee relations, leave management, compensation, L&D, and employee engagement).
  • Maintain our Global HRIS (BambooHR) for the DACH region. Ensuring data accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations, minimizing legal risks.
  • Ability to handle employee relations issues, including document preparation and conflict resolution.
  • Support the annual engagement process by encouraging participation, reviewing outcomes, and partnering with leaders to develop action plans to drive improvement.
  • Revise/update Conductor GmbH employee handbook, local HR Policies on Confluence, and local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as required, to adhere to new regulations
  • Conduct new employee onboarding sessions, welcoming new employees to the company, and providing an overview of HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage all DACH Offboarding (exit interviews, Systems updates, etc.).
  • Partner with Office Manager on Health & Safety (Tuv) as well as employee engagement events.
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and documents.
  • Conduct business with integrity consistent with Conductor's values, policies, and procedures.
  • Act as a champion and ambassador for the HR team, enhancing our brand and reputation on the ground.

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working as a frontline HR Advisor, HR Business Partner in Germany.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation in the DACH region and familiarity with HR laws in Germany.
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and German (C1 level preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Analytical, problemsolving, and project management skills.
  • High level of digital literacy, particularly in HRIS systems like BambooHR.
