About your role*Coming out of the pandemic we are re-growing our sales team as the market opportunity has become even bigger after Covid than it was ever before and the sales pipeline is growing quickly We are looking for a Head of Sales with experience in fast-scaling B2B sales teams, as Talixo is planning to multiply sales team capacity over the next few quarters.

In this role, you will be defining, articulating, and implementing the organization's strategy for selling products and services to targeted customers and partners.

As the market is huge, you will need to focus sales efforts on the biggest opportunities and improve direct sales process effectiveness (from lead to revenue) to maximize revenue growth.

You will be the catalyst for Talixo ́s success


What you will be doing:

  • Leading Talixo ́s sales department consists of 3 teams: Corporate Sales, Retail Partner Sales, Sales Support
  • Actively driving company strategy on the sales side to grow sales via B2B direct sales
  • Go To Market Strategy: geography focus (Americas, Europe, Asia), market segment focus (OTAs, Airlines,)
  • Sales Cycle and process: right lead qualification; fast acquisition and conversion approach = > speed up sales cycle (1st contact to 1st Booking); quick ramp up of volume and profit (CNR)
  • Driving and improving consultative sales process and funnel to ensure high sales performance
  • Being in charge of PR and B2B marketing as well = > mainly basic marketing materials, fairs, partner/reseller sales
  • Leading from the front by showing how sales are done and being able to train sales team members
  • Recruit and onboard new sales team members
  • Grow your own team
  • Directly reporting to the CEO

Requirements:


  • 10 years of B2B sales experience having shown outstanding business development performance (closing and growing of accounts)
  • Experience in managing and scaling multiple B2B sales teams ( >10 members)
  • Fluent German and English speaker (any additional language is a plus)
  • Basic financial and legal knowledge to financially assess opportunities and negotiate contracts
  • Knowledge of the travel industry (corporate / leisure) and the mobility industry (is a big plus but not required)
  • Selfdriven and detailoriented person
  • Strategic thinker as well as hands on implementer
  • Team player who's willing to learn and launch a new product in an old industry
