Constructor University (formerly Jacobs University Bremen gGmbH)* is a private, state-accredited, English-language research university in Bremen.

  • The Academic Advising Services department is centrally responsible for the coordination of Academic Advising at the University. As the central academic advising service, it is the contact point for students with special advising needs. Furthermore, it coordinates and structures the advising activities of the decentralized faculty Academic Advisors.

Your

responsibilities:


  • Advising students on issues related to their study process
  • Support and coordinate with faculty Academic Advisors on issues related to their academic advising tasks
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the Registrar and Student Service department,
  • Coordinate the implementation and support information events and marketing activities
  • Prepare statistics, data collection, and analysis for reports, surveys, and data collection efforts

Your qualifications:


  • A completed university level degree
  • Initial work experience, preferably in the area of higher education / administration
  • Excellent written and spoken German as well as English
  • A high level of organizational skills and commitment with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and solve problems
  • Ability to initiate and implement projects independently and as part of a team
  • High level of comfort with technology and data and willingness to learn and use new technologies
